Website instability caused system slowdowns on Monday
The State Revenue Service has postponed by one week the deadline for the first installment of the 2021 IPVA or full payment in cash with a 3% discount.
An instability on the website of the State Treasury Department caused the system to slow down on Monday, the 18th, in some cases making it impossible to issue the payment slip. Technicians from Celepar, the company responsible for the system, have been working since the early hours of the day to solve the problem. However, to avoid any harm to any taxpayer, the IRS has decided to grant an additional week of time.
The due dates for the remaining installments, from February to May, remain the same.
To issue the payment slip or check amounts, access the website of the State Treasury. You must have the Renavam number on hand, which is found on the Vehicle Registration and Licensing Certificate (CRLV).
With just the Renavam number, it is also possible to pay the tax directly at the cash desks or service channels of seven accredited banks: Banco do Brasil, Itaú, Santander, Bradesco, Sicredi, Banco Rendimento and Bancoop.
