PMPR seizes 125 crack rocks in Guaratuba

Large amount of narcotics were removed from the streets of Guaratuba

In the early hours of Tuesday, the 27th, around midnight, the 9th Battalion of the Military Police of Paraná (PMPR), through a team of military police officers from Guaratuba, carried out an action against drug trafficking in Guaratuba. While patrolling the Portelinha neighborhood, the PMPR observed three individuals acting suspiciously on a street corner very close to a drug trafficking point in the region, who were caught with 125 rocks of crack cocaine hidden in a PET bottle at the location where they were. 

“The suspects, who were identified as 18, 21 and 31 years old, were approached by the police. Next to where they were sitting, a PET bottle containing several pieces of crack cocaine packaged for sale and a box of glasses with more packaged pieces, totaling 125 units, were found,” reports the 9th Battalion of the PMPR. 

According to the PMPR, those approached were arrested and taken to the Guaratuba Civil Police Station for the appropriate legal measures in the case.
