School Patrol seizes portion of marijuana in student's backpack in Paranaguá municipal network

The student's mother confirmed that she was a drug user and claimed to have accidentally left the substance in her daughter's backpack.

On Monday morning, the 28th, the School Patrol of the Municipal Civil Guard of Paranaguá was called by the Guardianship Council to investigate a situation involving a possible illicit substance found in the backpack of a 1st grade elementary school student. The incident occurred at the Municipal School located on Rua dos Jacarandás, in the Jardim Iguaçu neighborhood.

According to reports, the minor had informed an intern at the unit that her mother had forgotten some objects in her backpack. Upon checking the situation and realizing that it could be some drug, the boy informed the pedagogical coordination, who immediately contacted the Guardianship Council.

The GCM agents went to the school, where they confirmed the veracity of the incident. The student's mother was then called to the school, where she confirmed that she was a drug user and claimed to have accidentally left the substance in her daughter's backpack.

In view of the facts, the legal guardian and the minor were sent to the Paranaguá Citizen Police Station for the necessary clarifications and appropriate measures.
