Agents from ROMU – Ronda Ostensiva Municipal, from the Civil Guard, found on the afternoon of Tuesday, 20, in the Sete de Setembro neighborhood, on Ilha dos Valadares, in Paranaguá, a car taken in an assault in the Saint Etienne resort, in the city of Matinhos.
THEFT
According to the police, the owner of the recovered vehicle was surprised in the early hours of the morning inside his home by three individuals who broke into the property. One of the suspects put a knife to the victim's neck and announced the robbery.
In addition to the car, the criminals stole several items of clothing, personal documents, bank cards and a cell phone. Before fleeing, the robbers tied up the victim.
Upon realizing that the suspects had left his house, the man managed to free himself and call the Military Police.
DIGITAL WALL
By sharing information and inserting data from the police report into the system, the monitoring cameras of Muralha Digital, installed in Paranaguá, identified the stolen car traveling through Ilha dos Valadares.
The situation was passed on to ROMU teams and the vehicle was found during a patrol in the area. The Renault Logan was abandoned on Rua 48. No suspects were approached at the scene.
The car was taken to the Paranaguá Citizen Police Station, where appropriate measures were taken.
