Teams from the Municipal Civil Guard arrested two individuals suspected of involvement in drug trafficking in the region and of participating in a demonstration that closed the PR-412 highway, Engenheiro Darci Gomes de Moraes, on Thursday night, the 28th, during an ostensive patrol action in the Gaivotas beach resort, in Matinhos.
The arrest took place on a section of Carajás Street, following monitoring by the corporation's intelligence sector.

The agents found several rocks of crack cocaine, plastic vials containing cocaine, and packets of marijuana in the possession of the pair.
Cell phones, a watch, and loose change were also seized from the two individuals.
MONITORING
The approach took place near the location where a recent armed confrontation involving military police officers from the Shock Battalion ended with a suspect being neutralized.
INTENSIFIED
According to the corporation, monitoring, visible and preventive patrolling actions continue to be carried out in the resort area, with the intention of maintaining tranquility and public order.
CITIZEN POLICE STATION
The two individuals arrested, aged 20 and 30 respectively, along with the drugs, money, and cell phones seized, were taken to the Citizen's Police Station.
