Port and companies are united in search of improvements for the municipality; mayor highlights satisfaction in seeing positive ideas
Mayor Marcelo Roque was at the Taguaré Palace on Wednesday, the 11th, to attend the presentation of the improvement and paving projects for Avenida Senador Atílio Fontana, being carried out by the Paranaguá Container Terminal (TPC). The study for the construction of the viaduct on Avenida Roque Vernalha is being carried out by the company Portos do Paraná.
The Avenida Atílio Fontana project is the result of an Urban Compensation Agreement signed between TCP and the City of Paranaguá. There will be nine kilometers of pavement that will reach Alexandra. Regarding the possible construction of an overpass on Avenida Roque Vernalha, the business director of Portos do Paraná, André Pioli, explained that the idea is in the study phase and that residents and merchants in the region will be consulted before any decision is made.

The port and the City Hall are working together, as are the port companies, for the development of Paranaguá,” said the mayor. The Municipal Department of Urbanism (Semur) was a partner in the development of the projects, providing information and studies.
