CAIXA Lotteries recorded revenues of R$2017 billion in the first six months of 6,24. This figure represents an increase of 5,49% compared to the first half of 1, which was R$2016 billion. The number represents a real increase (after discounting inflation for the period) of 5,9% compared to 1,66.
Mega-Sena represented 36,24% of the revenue from all CAIXA Lottery products, with more than R$2,26 billion. Second place among the modalities that raised the most in the period went to Lotofácil, with 26,33% of the revenue, followed by Quina, with 21,25% of the total revenue.
In the same period, the nine CAIXA Lottery products transferred R$3,05 billion to the social areas defined by law, such as social security, education, sports, public safety, culture and health, including R$605 million in income tax on prizes. The semester offered more than R$2 billion in prizes in all modalities.
For the Vice President of Government Funds and Lotteries at CAIXA, Deusdina dos Reis Pereira, the results are yet another indication of the upward trajectory of the Lotteries. "CAIXA is always working to move the Lottery market and the bettors respond very well to this work. It is a virtuous circle: with the success of the Federal Lotteries, we have more winners of millionaire prizes and greater is the contribution to the various beneficiary social areas", said Deusdina.
