I watched him with my eyes closed,
Dreaming and gently nestled.
Cover him with words of love,
Of infinite pages and
paint textures.
Protect him like this,
From the cold of indifference,
Of evil,
Of all that
I could have hurt him.
Words to warm you up
Like a blanket of infinity,
Words from a woman to her beloved
Differently equal
In the poetry of gesture,
In the immensity of a
heartbeat.
Of looks like charms or sighs,
Never the same.
I was in my bed,
I was in my most desired moment,
It was my need.
I watched him in his sleep
I felt desire,
My thoughts were for him to wake up
Because I just wanted him,
I had an urgent need to love.
