The National Vaccination Campaign against poliomyelitis, which began on May 14 with the aim of expanding vaccination coverage for the target audience: children from six months to under five years of age, ended this Friday (27). Judgment
The Court of Justice of Paraná (TJ-PR) decided to rescind the trial of former pro-Bolsonaro prison police officer Jorge Guaranho, defendant in the murder of PT member Marcelo Arruda, in 2022. The popular jury, which was supposed to take place in Foz do Iguaçu, where the crime took place, will be transferred to Curitiba.

The State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG) is accepting applications for the external transfer process for distance learning courses for the year 2024. Ambev factory
Governor Ratinho Júnior (PSD) visited Ambev's new bottling plant, which is 80% complete, with an investment of R$870 million. The plant will expand the company's supply of premium beers and consolidate Campos Gerais as one of the main beer hubs in the country.
Factories
Last week, Ratinho Júnior attended the inauguration of the Maltaria in the Campos Gerais region, which received investments of R$1,6 billion from six cooperatives. Ponta Grossa also has plants from Ambev and Heineken. Around 2 people worked on the construction of the bottle factory alone, which is expected to generate 170 direct jobs for Carambeí and up to 2 jobs considering the entire chain.

Businessman Deoclécio Duarte has joined Avante and put his name forward to run for mayor of Foz do Iguaçu. Duarte has been doing social work to help families renovate and build access ramps to their homes in the neighborhoods. The businessman points out that the next mayor must ensure access to and quality of public health services for the population, which he considers the city's biggest bottleneck. Avante has already signaled to the other parties that it is open to coalitions and alliances in the October elections, even as a vice mayor.

Faep asked the president of the Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG), to also return the articles that delegate to the city governments the decision regarding the Rural Land Tax, which are present in MP 1227. Pacheco has already returned to the federal government the part that dealt with the limitation of the use of PIS and Cofins credits. According to the federation, leaving the decision up to each city government causes a lack of uniformity in the application of the rules and reduces the possibility of administrative discussions. Fecomércio has opened the Sesc Cascavel Hotel Fazenda. In an area of over one million square meters on the BR-277 highway, the hotel has 16,7 m² with 60 apartments, a restaurant for 250 people, a bar, a café and a swimming pool. The sports complex has a fitness area, a multi-sports gym, tennis, soccer and beach volleyball courts, a playground, hammocks and bicycles. Options include a movie theater, home theater, games room, playroom and souvenir shop. One of the highlights is the Convention Center for 500 people, complete with dressing rooms, VIP Room and Business Center.

The PGE requested that the Civil Police investigate the invasion of the Legislative Assembly by protesters on June 3, during protests against the vote on a bill that would allow the outsourcing of administrative management of 204 state schools. The proposal was approved by the deputies and sanctioned by Governor Ratinho Junior (PSD). According to the State Department of Education, public consultations will be held at educational institutions, which will decide whether they want to adopt the model.
Vaccination in schools
President Lula (PT) signed into law the National Vaccination Program in Public Schools. The main target is students in early childhood education and elementary school. Schools that receive public funds must participate in the program. Private schools can also participate.
