BRDE offers an exclusive credit program for companies led by women. The financing will be provided to companies that have women as owners or partners holding at least 50% of the share capital. “BRDE wants to support women entrepreneurs, whether they own large, medium or small companies. This program is an incentive for Paraná to have even more women in leadership positions,” says Vice President and Director of Operations Wilson Bley.
No hiring
ManpowerGroup's Employment Outlook Survey shows that 69% of employers do not intend to make changes to their workforce, while 21% intend to hire and 8% expect to reduce their teams in the 2nd quarter. A total of 652 people were interviewed between January 6 and 26, before the tightening of restriction measures across the country this month due to the worsening of the pandemic. The indicator of hiring expectations in Brazil for the 2nd quarter is 9%, one percentage point lower than in the 1st quarter and 4 percentage points weaker than in the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Petrobras has announced the list of people nominated by the government to join the board of directors of Petrobras. Curitiba city councilman Mauro Ignácio (DEM) presented a bill that includes restaurants and similar establishments in the list of essential activities during public calamity situations. “The Municipality may establish a safety protocol, defining limits on the number of people and business opening hours, in addition to other health protection rules and sanitary measures, in order to guarantee due social distancing”, but as long as it is “justified by technical and scientific criteria”.

The Senate approved a bill that makes federal government support for micro and small businesses (Pronampe) a public policy in the form of credits. “Of the 1,5 million businesses in Paraná, 1,3 million are micro and small businesses. Bakeries, clothing stores, grocers, snack bars, beauty salons, and most small businesses operate in all segments of society. They generate 30% of Brazil’s wealth and 55% of formal jobs. Duplication
The DER-PR has published the results of the analysis of the price proposals for the bidding process to duplicate the BR-277 highway in Cascavel. Two consortia and two companies that offered the lowest prices, ranging from R$47,5 million to R$51,9 million, were selected. The five-day period for submitting appeals now begins. On March 25, the envelopes containing the qualifying documents of the companies that have been selected will be opened. After analyzing this documentation, the winner will be determined. After the service order is issued, the estimated completion time is 420 calendar days, or 14 months.
Duplicate II
The project involves the duplication of 5,81 kilometers of BR-277, from km 574,4 to km 580,2, between the Federal Highway Police station and Ferroeste, near Cascavel. The left-hand side of the highway will also be paved from km 581,7 to km 583,3, over a distance of 1,56 kilometers, with a viaduct being built at km 575,1, providing access to Ferroeste, and another viaduct at km 580, where a variant of PR-180 will be implemented.

Tax reform is the most important thing for Brazil, argues Senator Flávio Arna (Pode-PR). “It should have been the first thing sought by society and the federal government. The DER has opened the bidding process for the works to expand the capacity and safety of the PR-092, between Jaguariaíva and Santo Antônio da Platina, from the Campos Gerais region to the Northern Pioneiro. Seven companies and consortiums are participating, with values ranging from R$39,9 million to R$47,9 million. The maximum budget for this work, known as the third lanes of the PR-092, was estimated at R$51 million.
